At the end of last year we knew the details of the renewal of the DS 3 E-TENSE. An electric and compact SUV that wants to position itself as an alternative in design and finishes above the average in the segment, and that is now available at a discount. But will it be enough to convince customers?
He DS 3 E-Tense It is a compact SUV in the B segment that has received an exterior redesign and a new propulsion and battery system from the Stellantis group that allows it to gain power, efficiency and autonomy.
The DS 3 is distinguished from the previous model by a widened grille and new light clusters with DS MATRIX LED VISION headlights as an option.
It combines the new engine of 115 kW (156 PS) and 260 Nm with batteries of 54 kWh (50.8 useful kWh) liquid cooled. Something that ensures a long useful life and more efficient work even in extremely cold conditions. The result is a model that under the WLTP cycle achieves a consumption of just 12.6 kWh/100 km, which allows it to homologate 402 km WLTP of approved autonomy.
