Vietnamese brand VinFast is undergoing a very rapid international expansion thanks to its range of electric SUVs. After the launch of the VF 8 and VF 9 in the United States and Europe, respectively framed in the D (medium) and E (executive) segments, the Asian firm wants to expand its offer with smaller and more affordable models.
One of them will be TF 6, a B-segment SUV (utility) designed with the European public in mind. This vehicle will rival the Jeep Avenger and Opel Mokka-e, among others, and will have the task of driving the growth of the company in our market.
Although its final appearance was revealed during the past CES 2023 (Consumer Electronics Show) Las Vegas, held at the beginning of the year, the manufacturer continues to test it completely camouflaged. Test drives have been wowed by our photographers in southern Europe, where the VF 6 is in the final stages of its development.
According to what was announced at the time by VinFast, its new SUV will measure 4.24 meters long, 1.82 meters wide and 1.59 meters high, with a wheelbase of 2.73 meters. It will be available in two versions, both front-wheel drive: Eco (177 hp, 59.6 kWh battery, 399km WLTP autonomy) and Plus (204 CV, 59.6 kWh battery, 381km WLTP of autonomy).
The VinFast VF 6 will be launched at the end of 2023
The Eco trim will include 17-inch wheels as standard, while the Plus trim will add 19-inch wheels, vegan leather upholstery, and a panoramic glass roof. The infotainment system associated with a 12.9-inch touch screen will be common. In terms of safety, we should highlight the adaptive cruise control and the lane centering assistant, among others.
