
The SEAT Leon range has been significantly simplified in Spain. Now there are fewer possible versions for both finishes and engines. Regarding finishes, both the Reference and the Xcellence disappear from their catalog; but in addition, the 1.0 TSI 90 hp engine is also no longer available.
With this change in the range of the SEAT Leon, only two possible finishes become available, which are Style and FR. Regarding engines, the elimination of the 1.0 TSI 90 CV, which marked access to the range, means that it can now be purchased with the 1.0 TSI 110 CV as a basic option and, above, the 1.5 TSI 130 and 150 CV. But in addition to these previous ones, the versions with micro hybridization and CNG are also available, as well as the configurations with 110 CV and 150 CV diesel mechanics.
This means that in addition to the previous ones, the mechanical 1.0 ETSI 110 CV with the automatic double-clutch DSG transmission, 1.5 eTSI 150 CV, and 1.5 TGI 130 CV can also be configured. However, within the more ‘eco’ options, in reality, the 1.4 eHybrid 204 hp is still the most interesting option. The latter is the plug-in hybrid configuration with a 1.4 TSI engine as a base, a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 13.2 kWh, and a range in electric mode of 60 kilometers according to the WLTP approval cycle.
The Style finish, within this new SEAT Leon 2023 range, already has LED headlights, a digital instrument panel, automatic climate control, cruise control, an 8.2-inch screen compatible with Android Auto and Apple Carplay, and a rear parking sensor. Also part of its standard equipment is the rain and lighting sensor, the push-button start system, and the four electric windows.


The prices of the SEAT Leon 2023
With this update of the range, the SEAT Leon 2023 has a basic and cheaper version of the 1.0 TSI 110 CV with a six-speed manual gearbox and Style finish. So its starting price is 22,190 euros. If we opted for the same configuration, but with the motor with micro hybridization, the price is 24,690 euros. However, it must be borne in mind that in this version there is another substantial difference, and that is that it comes with the associated dual-clutch automatic transmission yes or yes.
