The next spring, Renault will officially present the new and unprecedented Espace, an SUV with up to 7 seats of which we have just learned more information and its first images.
Renault’s range of SUV-type vehicles continues to capture some of the news interest in the motor world. If one of the great innovations in this segment was carried out at the end of 2022 by the unprecedented Austral – the natural substitute for the previous Kadjar and a model that will also have Spanish genes -, soon another new model of this type will be the one that will cause talk in the commercial offer of the firm of the rhombus.
In this case, the new protagonist will be the Espace, which in its new generation will abandon its classic and unmistakable minivan-type bodywork to adopt a more modern SUV type. On this occasion, the French firm has just confirmed that the world premiere of this new vehicle will take place next spring, that is, in just a few weeks.
The interior configuration of the Renault Espace will be able to accommodate versions of five and seven seats and its bodywork will have a total length of 4.72 meters. About the design that this new large SUV will have, the French brand has advanced some images that advance what its silhouette will be like, in which, through a successful game of light and shadow, an athletic, dynamic style with shoulders can be guessed. very marked.
In the new official information provided by the French firm, it is ensured that the new vehicle will have a large glass surface that will extend from the front and to the rear, so we already notice a very bright cabin. Another aesthetic detail that can be seen in the new official images is the presence of a rear spoiler at the end of the roof, which serves to further emphasize the dynamic design of the vehicle.

Like the fifth-generation model, this new sixth-generation model in an SUV -type body format will also bet without concessions on a roomier interior space, all this despite having a body length of up to 14 shorter cm. According to Renault, inside you can enjoy a longitudinal space of 2.48 m up to the third row of seats, a level slightly higher than that of the Espace that is currently being marketed.
From a structural point of view, in previous information, we already told you that the Espace VI was going to be developed on the CMF-CD technical platform of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance (the same architecture, for example, as the new Qashqai and Austral ). For all these reasons, in the mechanical offer of the Espace 2023, electrification should be opted for, through two types of hybrid technology, either through propulsion modes with mild-hybrid systems of 12 V light hybridization or, through self-recharging hybrid E-Tech Full Hybrid technology. In addition, Nor should we even rule out some hypothetical plug-in hybrid variant that can be added later.
