New 508 2022 Engine
We are therefore talking about the two versions of its 1.6 PureTech gasoline which has 180 or 225 horsepower. In diesel, Peugeot offers its BlueHDI engines. The 1.5 BlueHDI has 130 guns, while the 2.0 BlueHDI offers 160 to 180. All these mechanics inherit as standard from the new 8-speed automatic transmission EAT8.
Regarding the engines, the plug-in hybrid variants of 225 and 360 horsepower, we are talking about a more powerful battery. This would increase the electric autonomy to more than 50 km. Everything for the logo!

Just below, we find the small Peugeot steering wheel, but with a few additional buttons, those of the multimedia, which are no longer hidden below the indicators on the steering column. Under the central 10-inch screen is a second long screen where you can attach 5 widgets, 5 shortcuts. They are fully customizable and can be very varied: from a simple radio station to a daily commute, including a specific temperature of the air conditioning.
The central screen is also customizable with “pages” also made up of widgets, larger and more complete. It feels like being in front of a smartphone designed horizontally.
