The Lexus UX in its 2023 range is updated with the incorporation of various changes at the technological level and in its chassis. This is how this premium SUV is renewed.
Lexus has reported various changes to the 2023 range of its UX model. In general terms, the main modifications focus on the technological equipment, new security systems, and various novelties in its chassis.
In technological equipment, the premium Japanese manufacturer of the Toyota Group has announced the incorporation of the new Lexus Link multimedia system, now equipped with larger touch screens (8.0 or 12.3 inches in size) with faster and more intuitive operation. These screens, according to Lexus, have also moved their position slightly forward, now appearing closer to the driver.
The new Lexus Link multimedia system with an 8- or 12.3-inch screen supports compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity technologies for smartphones (in the latter case, connectivity is wireless). Onboard, the driver and front passenger will be able to give some voice commands through the new intelligent assistant, which is activated by saying “Hey Lexus” out loud. Some of those orders and actions that can be carried out using said assistant are making calls, controlling the sound system and the climate control, as well as searching the Internet.

Another novelty in the 2023 range of the Lexus UX is the possibility of transforming the driver’s smartphone into the vehicle’s control through an app, with some outstanding functions such as opening, closing, or starting the car from the mobile phone itself.
On a technical and structural level, Lexus confirms that the level of rigidity of the UX 2023 has increased by having 20 new welding points. At the chassis level, there are new adjustments in the direction and the shock absorbers.

Outside, the Japanese brand announces the availability of the new Iridium Sonic color. The updated 2023 range also includes an increased number of two-tone finishes, with six colors available in combination with a contrasting black roof on F Design and F Sport versions.
On the other hand, the global security technology Lexus Safety System +2 incorporates a new camera and new sensors. Among the novelties in this regard, better performance is announced in the Pre-Collision System (PCS) and the vehicle now equips the Forward Cross Traffic Alert (FCTA) and the Advanced Emergency Direction Assistant (ESA).

As for the propulsion system, these range changes correspond to the UX 250h self-charging electric hybrid version, with a total power of 184 hp. Optionally, the Lexus E-Four electronic all-wheel-drive system can be added. As for the purely electric variant 300e Electric, no changes are announced in this regard.
