Last December, Fiat presented its new medium electric van, the E-Scudo. This model, located one step below the well-known E-Ducato, is a clone of its sisters from the Stellantis group (Citroën ë-Jumpy, Opel Vivaro-e, Peugeot e-Expert) and the Toyota Proace Electric.
Now, the Italian firm has revealed the first images of its tourism version, which has received the commercial name E-Ulysee. The newcomer is, again, identical to the electric MPVs derived from the aforementioned vans (Citroën ë-SpaceTourer, Opel Zafira-e, Peugeot e-Traveller, Toyota Proace Verso Electric).
Therefore, there is no news on the technical level: the Fiat E-Ulysee will be available with two battery packs (50 and 75 kWh capacity) associated with a 136 hp (100 kW) and 260 Nm electric motor. The top speed will be limited in both cases to 130 km/h, while its autonomy will be respectively 230 (50 kWh version) and 330 km WLTP (75 kWh version).
As for charging, it can reach 100 kW of power in direct current, recovering 80% of its range in 30 minutes (50 kWh version) or 45 minutes (75 kWh version). In alternating current, it will be limited to a maximum of 11 kW (three-phase).
The Fiat E-Ulysee will be available in two lengths
At the moment only two lengths have been announced (4.95 and 5.30 meters long). In its eight-seater variant, there will be up to twelve configurations of the interior space, while the seven-seater will be more flexible and will allow up to sixteen combinations. According to Fiat , this will make the E-Ulysee an ideal vehicle for transportation services.
The maximum load volume will be 4,200 liters with the 4.95-meter body and 4,900 liters with the 5.30-meter body, although these figures will be reduced to 900 and 1,500 liters respectively with all seats occupied. In addition, goods up to 3.1 meters long (4.95-meter version) or 3.5 meters (5.30-meter version) can be loaded.
Although its standard equipment will be very complete (17-inch wheels, air conditioning…), there will be a superior Lounge variant with a more luxurious approach and ideal for VIP shuttles. At the moment the Fiat E-Ulysee rates in our country are unknown, although they may be similar to those proposed by Citroën, Opel, and Peugeot.
