The Cupra Formentor VZ5 is the version the most capable, exclusive and sporty SUV of the Spanish brand. It is a version of limited edition, of which only 7,000 units will see the light, at the rate of 62,840 euros each. This includes a specific set-up, with exclusive equipment elements both at the design level and those that affect its dynamics, as well as a power that reaches 390 hp.
This version of the Formentor, the first vehicle designed and developed exclusively by Cupra, mount under the hood the 2.5 TSI five-cylinder gasoline engine, which reaches the aforementioned 390 hp (+80 CV compared to the Formentor VZ) and the 480 Nm of torque, associated with a 7-speed DSG transmission and 4Drive traction. Its acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is 4.2 seconds, and for this it also uses the “Torque Splitter” technology, which allows the power of the engine to be distributed between both axles and, in turn, also between the left and right wheels of the rear axle.
Drivers of the exclusive Cupra Formentor VZ5 will be able to enjoy the advanced “Adaptive Chassis Control”, which adjusts the firmness of the suspension by up to 15 points, as well as the different driving modes of the selector “Cupra Drive Profile”, which includes the exclusive Drift mode to enjoy it to the fullest in circuit. But it also has a height lowered by 10 mm, exclusive 20-inch wheels and high performance Akebono brakes with 375 mm discs on the front axle.
