The BMW M3 CS should be in the showrooms in 2023. In addition to an illustration, we show the first photos of a spyshot. Its foil prevents a view of the interior. The price could be like this!
Not only the M4 CSL is in the pipeline from Garching, but also the BMW M3 CS, which could come onto the market in 2023. This is supported by the first photos of a spy shot whose foiling can hardly hide the martial design. In particular, the front of the sharpest 3 Series is reminiscent of already known recordings of the M4 CSL.
But in order not to overthrow the internal hierarchy, we expect a little less horsepower in the M3 CS. Around 530 hp (390 kW) seems realistic, which would mean a performance increase of 20 hp compared to the competition.
Of course, the three-liter in-line six-cylinder turbo petrol engine, which is beyond all doubt, is responsible for this. “Competition sport” also means weight optimization. So we expect more aluminum and carbon parts. It is also likely that the heavy all-wheel drive will be dispensed with, which would make the BMW M3 CS 2023 a rear-wheel-drive sports sedan of the old school.

We are initially denied a look at the interior and a study of the price list. Anything other than a six-figure price would be a big surprise.
If we compare our illustration of the BMW M3 CS 2023 with the spy shots, there are differences, especially in the rear area. While the Photoshop artist Avarvarii straps a little unobtrusive wing onto the trunk lid, the spyshot is much more reserved with its spoiler lip.
But we firmly believe that not only performance and weight are being optimized, but also the aerodynamics. A first hint will be the premiere of the M4 CSL, which is coming up soon.
