The seventh generation of the BMW 7 Series 2023 is here – with a spectacular design and interior. Everything about the price and length of the limousine.
The start of the series production of the BMW 7 Series 2023 is gradually approaching: at the presentation in April 2022, the new luxury sedan stretched its distinctive kidney grille into the spotlight for the first time. Another striking feature is the split headlights with extravagant daytime running lights. At the rear, long, L-shaped taillights stretch deep into the high trunk lid.
The long version has been omitted for a good reason: the new 7 Series is 13 centimeters longer and, at 3.22 meters, has a wheelbase that is five millimeters longer than the long version before it. At market launch in Europe, the range of engines is limited to the plug-in hybrid M760e xDrive, whose technical data show 571 hp (420 kW).
Thanks to a battery that is 50 percent larger than its predecessor, the electric range have increased to more than 80 kilometers. While other markets are also getting mildly hybridized V8s and straight-six petrol engines, in Europe we’ll have to wait for the R6 diesel 740d that was announced at the premiere.

Classic petrol engines have had their day in this country. A highlight of the new model range of the BMW 7 Series 2023 is the all-electric i7, which will also be available in various drive configurations. 18-inch wheels and a further developed adaptive chassis with two-axle air suspension are standard. Integral active steering and active roll stabilization are available at extra cost.
Inside the BMW 7 Series 2023 we find a new two-spoke steering wheel, a curved instrument panel with 12.3-inch digital instruments, and a 14.9-inch touchscreen next to it. But the well-known and valued operation of the iDrive system with a rotary pushbutton is still on board the sedan. The dimensions in the interior are very generous thanks to the ample exterior length of 5.39 meters and a no less impressive wheelbase of 3.22 meters.

In general, the seats in the rear are anything but second class: In addition to a large panoramic glass roof, the 7 Series offers a widescreen display that extends to 31 inches diagonally – almost the entire width of the interior. Bowers & Wilkins provides adequate sound – even if only at an additional cost.
BMW 7 Series 2023 Price
Speaking of price: the BMW 7 Series does not yet have a price tag. It may not only surpass the length of the predecessor, which costs at least 99,300 euros (as of April 2022).
