Design
Compared to the production vehicles, the new Audi RS4 Avant and the RS5 Competition have been given some visual upgrades that set them apart from the other vehicles.
You’ll spot unique 20-inch alloy wheels, a new black paint job only found in the competition, and black plaques around the car.

The exterior mirrors, grille, and side vents are clad in matte carbon fiber. Matrix LED headlights are standard equipment.
Driving behavior
One of the biggest changes for the Competition versions of the Audi RS4 Avant and Audi RS5 is the optional chassis upgrade offered as part of the Competition Plus package.
For a surcharge on the Competition, you can get a manually adjustable coil over kit that is 10mm lower than the standard vehicle and can be lowered by a further 10mm to a total of 20mm.
The Competition Plus also features dynamic steering, said to be quicker and more responsive when driving around the track, and an improved sport differential that can transfer more power to the rear wheels.
Engines
The Audi RS4 Avant and the RS5 Competition get the same 2.9-liter V6 engine with twin turbocharging as the production vehicle with 450 hp and 600 Nm of torque. The top speed has increased slightly to 290 km/h.

Both the Competition and Competition Plus models have an improved sports exhaust. It sounds more roaring and is 8 kg lighter than the production vehicle exhaust. The exhaust will most likely still have a soft restrictor though.
Audi RS4 & RS5 Competition Interior
The competition version of the Audi RS4 Avant and RS5 received some upgrades in the interior compared to the production vehicle, such as a suede-like Alcantara steering wheel.
There are also numerous carbon fiber trims on the dashboard, doors, and center console, as well as red detailing on the seat belts. Unique Alcantara trim strips on the seats complete the equipment.
