The current Audi Q5 will be replaced in 2024. The range of the plug-in hybrid is increasing, and a battery-electric version is also being planned. However, it is still too early for a price and specific information on the S Line.
The Audi Q5 is expected to be available from 2024 completely renewed at the start. Our computer illustration shows what the third generation could look like. The first Erlkönig photos that reach us from winter tests in Northern Europe provide concrete indications. As we can see from the pictures, the SUV remains true to the well-known line. The newly interpreted single-frame radiator grille is striking.
We already know this variant from the Q8 and Q7 facelift and it is intended to differentiate the brand’s SUV more from conventional cars. Like a combustion engine, the mid-range SUV will continue to be based on the modular longitudinal matrix (MLB). As with the next A4, all powertrains will be hybridized. An electric variant, on the other hand, will be based on the e-platform (PPE) developed with Porsche and should be called the Q6 e-Tron.
The electric range of the plug-in hybrid increases to 100 kilometers. The interior of the Audi Q5 (2024) has been upgraded with a further developed operating concept. In addition to an augmented reality head-up display, this also includes significantly improved, intelligent voice control.

Audi Q5 2024 Engine & Price
Since the Q5 was only lifted in 2020 and the current generation is expected to remain on the market until 2023 or 2024, the prices of the new Audi Q5, which will appear in 2024, are pure speculation at this point. The current model, which starts at 48,850 euros with 163 hp (120 kW) diesel and front-wheel drive, should be a clue.

The cheapest plug-in hybrid, the 299 hp (220 kW) 50 TFSI e Quattro, has a price of at least 56,500 euros (all prices as of March 2022). The particularly sporty and popular S Line should also be part of the offer for the new edition of the Audi Q5 (2024) – around 2500 euros extra are currently to be paid for the extra equipment.
